2025 NYCU TOCFL Incentive Application Guidelines have been released! 

Please carefully review the important details (excerpt) below and the attached documents.

Eligibility

International students enrolled at NYCU who have obtained a TOCFL certificate after enrollment are eligible to apply.

Application Period

The application process is divided into two rounds. Late applications will NOT be accepted.

1. First Round: May 1 – May 30, 2025 (for tests taken between May 2024 and April 2025)

2. Second Round: October 1 – October 30, 2025 (for tests taken between October 2024 and September 2025)

Note: The second round will not open if the budget is fully allocated during the first round.

Incentive Amounts

Incentives are based on TOCFL levels and apply only to the listening and reading tests. The incentive amounts are as follows:

A1 (Level 1): NT$ 3,000

A2 (Level 2): NT$ 4,000

B1 (Level 3): NT$ 5,000

B2 (Level 4): NT$ 6,000

C1 (Level 5): NT$ 7,000

C2 (Level 6): NT$ 8,000

Important Regulations

l   The OIA may adjust the incentive amounts and the number of recipients based on the annual budget.

l   Students must submit their applications within one year from the test date. Each student may apply for only one incentive level per application.

l   Each student may receive the incentive only once for the same level and test type.

l   Students who have already received an incentive for a higher level of the same test type are not eligible for incentives for lower levels (or the same level).

l   Award recipients must cooperate with the promotional activities of the OIA.

Application Process

To apply for the incentive, please complete the online application form and upload the following documents during the application period:

l   A copy of a valid TOCFL certificate

l   NYCU student ID (ensure your student status is current)

l   A valid ARC

l   Post Office passbook

*The online application form will be available starting May 1 and October 1.

TOCFL Test Registration

l   For TOCFL test registration, please visit their official website.

l   NYCU students are eligible for a registration discount. To receive the discount code, please contact Ms. Sophia Peng (sophiapeng26@nycu.edu.tw) at the Chinese Language Division.
